Connector-less test solution for coaxial cables
Offering a complete range of measurement solutions for data communication and telecommunication cables, DCM Industries Inc., USA, has recently released its CTS series of connector-less test solutions that provide a fast and efficient method for coaxial cable producers to test the RF-parameters on finished cables.
Using a connector-less test fixture, combined with de-embedding software and network analyser automation, the CTS solution provides a fast and efficient method for verifying RF-measurement parameters. All types and sizes of coaxial cables (from mini and micro to RG-types) can be measured without the need to add connectors to the ends of the cable.
