Handheld thermal wire strippers
Providing the industry with a wide range of wire and cable cutters and strippers, wire twisters, wire brush wheels, fibre optic tools, dereelers, infrared heating equipment, measuring tools, wire stripping wheels and brushes, the Eraser Company Inc., USA, has recently introduced two new handheld thermal wire strippers, models HTS1 and HTS2, designed for stripping extruded wires with solid or stranded conductors.
The HTS1 strips wires with diameters ranging from 0.056 to 12.7mm, while the HTS2 strips wires ranging from 0.056 to 1.02mm Ø. With the adjustable heat control, the element temperatures can be set-up to 594°C. The small, lightweight hand-pieces are comfortable to hold and easy to activate.
