Established in 1963, Gedik Welding Inc. is a leading Turkish manufacturer of welding consumables that are suitable for both domestic and international markets under the trademark GeKa. Production processes are strictly conducted by ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance regulations and the company has also received major international approvals for individual products. The GeKa range of products includes:
- Electrodes for shielded metal arc welding;
- Mild steel electrodes;
- Low-alloyed basic electrodes;
- Stainless steel electrodes;
- Dissimilar metal joints;
- Cast-iron electrodes;
- Hard-facing electrodes;
- Special purpose electrodes.
Gedik Welding Inc. also offers gas shielded arc welding wires and rods (mild steel, low-alloy steel, as well as stainless steel), flux-cored arc welding rods, submerged arc welding wires and fluxes, and oxy-fuel gas welding rods. Gedik laboratories, where continued research and development is carried-on, are equipped with the latest technology equipment. In addition, the company has established, in collaboration with other local and international institutions, the Gedik Education Foundation which provides both theoretical and practical training at all levels.
