Flexible CNC Turning Machines
Buffoli Transfer SpA, Italy, a world leading manufacturer of static bar CNC turning machines, has recently introduced its model TRB 55+, a flexible 12-station bar machine capable of machining from both directions and transversally, providing the flexibility of a CNC two-spindle machine. TRB 55+ requires only 30 to 60 minutes for a complete tool changeover and it is ideally suited for small batch manufacturing. The machine is a universal-flexible model designed for the sub-supplying market. The machine is equipped with 12 stations and 10 spindles, expandable up to more than 40 tools (thanks to 7 multi-tool CNC 3-axis machining centres with tool change over in 0.5 seconds). It is ideally suited for the machining of complex brass, aluminium, steel, and stainless steel bar parts.
