Automatic cable and wire processing machines
Metzner Maschinenbau GmbH, Germany, offers machines for cable and wire processing such as cable preparation machines that can automatically cut to length, strip, crimp and mark the cables with application specific references. Metzner machines handle cables with an outer diameter ranging from 0.5 up to 30mm and with a production output of up to 10,000 cables per hour. This equipment can also operate for the process of wires and steel cords.
In combination with Metzner peripheral units, such as cable dereelers, ink-jet printers, cable stackers, the cable processing machine is easily transformed into a complete production line, and with the addition of the company’s “cablelist” software, the possibilities are extensive. In addition to the broad spectrum of standard machines, Metzner also provides tailor-made solutions. Furthermore, machines are often integrated into in-house IT-networks for an automatic data transfer to the production machines.
