Spark-tester for single and multiple electrode applications
Zumbach Electronic AG, Switzerland, one of the leading manufacturers of in-line measuring, monitoring and control systems for the wire and cable industry, has recently introduced a new generation of DC spark-testers, series SPARKMASTER DST, suitable for all lines up to the highest line speeds. The new spark-testers offer high-flexibility, as well as many innovative features. The optimal solution for all applications is assured thanks to a modular design, a process driven and configurable electronic unit, as well as a large choice of electrodes.
These “all-in-one” models are available for OEM systems and for direct integration into process controllers through a serial or Profibus interface. Zumbach’s multi-electrode systems are suitable for stranding machines and similar processes. The systems monitor and control the machine and identify the individual wire (up to 11 high-voltage generators with the corresponding electrode units).
