Wire and cable high-speed braiders
Specialising in the manufacture of extrusion equipment for the wire and cable market, Fine International Corpo., USA, has recently introduced new 16-carrier and 24-carrier high-speed braiders, which provide short delivery times and exceptional competitive pricing. The new braiders feature a touch-screen control with PLC; frequency controlled driver allowing infinitely adjustable braiding RPM; automatic lubrication system controlled by PLC; as well as braiding wire, tape and core broken detection with alarm display.
The new 16-carrier (8 inner, 8 external) and 24-carrier (12 inner, 12 external) high-speed braiders are designed for copper, aluminium, and steel wire braiding, at speeds of up to 100 to 150rpm, and braiding pitch of 3.2mm to 65mm and 13.3mm to 134.5mm respectively. The new braiders are suitable for cable core pay off reels up to 800mm Ø, braided core take-up reels up to 800mm Ø
