New titanium clad copper bus bars

Anomet Products Inc., USA, has recently introduced new custom engineered, highly conductive and corrosion-resistant bus bars for use as conductors or electrodes in electroplating and chemical plants. The new bus bars are fully ductile for shaping and forming and can be welded for connecting, capping and joing anodes or cathodes. Featuring a large OFHC copper core to provide uniform current distribution and a metallurgically bonded titanium cladding for corrosion resistance, these bus bars are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes.

Available as wires ranging from 0.763 to 6.35mm Ø, rods up to 45.5mm Ø, square bars up to 38.1mm, as well as rectangular bars up to 12.7mm x 101.6mm by 9m long, the new bus bars are offered with titanium cladding from 0.51 to 3.18mm thick. They can be supplied bent or precut and are machinable, weldable and can withstand extreme thermal cycling.
