Ajex showcases TCD-11 at Wire Delhi
With its contention that in-house die polishing is much cheaper than sending the dies back to the manufacturer for re-polishing, Ajex Wire Dies was confidently approaching the Wire & Cable Expo 2005 (held in Delhi at the end of April).
Ajex's latest machine for polishing tungsten carbide dies – the TCD-11 (horizontal type) – was to be the showcase piece at the event. There is also a vertical type machine – the TCD-12 – as well as machines for polycrystalline and diamond dies: an ultrasonic machine, plus single-head, twin-head and six-head die polishing machines.
As well as the polishing machines, Ajex supplies a wide range of consumables such as diamond powder, diamond paste, boron carbide powder and paste, diamond angular pins, checking pins and other diamond tools, extrusion tips and dies.
