Versatile coiling/spooling line from EFAF
After the success had the company enjoyed with its compact coiler series MAC, EFAF has designed a machine that can automatically produce coils or spools. The B-MAC 450 is suitable for companies that don’t always need a high capacity machine but instead require a machine that can handle a range of cable production, is simple to use and is, of course, economic to purchase and run.
EFAF has designed the B-MAC 450 to be extremely versatile and flexible. The coiling/spooling line is made up of: a flyer pay-off, a motorized pay-off with accumulator or both, according to the type of cable, a lump and a neck down detector for cable control and automatic feeding of the empty reels to the B-MAC.
The line also comprises all the equipment necessary for measuring, traversing, cutting plus a rotating manipulator and operative panel for line control. For packaging, the line offers the possibility to package the coils with one strap and wrap them with thermoshrinking film. For spools EFAF recommends wrapping with stretch film. After the packaging element, it is possible to introduce in-line, a labelling machine with applicator in order to label the coils or the spools.
