Glass-to-metal sealing wire permits design of smaller conductors

Anomet’s copper-cored steel glass-to-metal sealing wire features a hermetic bond between the metals and provides current carrying capabilities up to six times better than solid wire, depending upon the application. Permitting the design of smaller conductors than solid wire, it is offered in 0.5mm to 10mm diameter sizes with 2:1 and 3:1 ratios of the alloy to the copper core.

Featuring dimensional tolerances to +/– 0.01mm, depending upon the diameter, this range of sealing wire includes the following standard products include FeNi 51 (Alloy 52, Dilaton 51) Nickel–Iron, Nickel–Iron–Cobalt, Alloy 42-6 Nickel-Iron-Chrome and Alloy 446SS Iron–Chromium.

The sealing wire is priced according to type and quantity; supplied on spools, reels, or as wrapped coils with virtually any specified temper.
