Redesigned concentric high-speed binder
Rosendahl has re-launched its high performance dual symmetric cross binding system the Concentric High-speed Binder GSZ290V/R. The new machine has been designed to address several key require-ments from wire and cable manufacturers such as productivity, quality and the support of different types of binding materials.
The symmetrical cross binder supports kops sizes up to 290 x 250mm (15kg) with a productivity rate of up to 18,000 lays per minute. Special attention was given to the specific machine require-ments for the production of dry cable constructions using super absorbent powder (SAP) coated taping materials. There are a number of noteworthy features such as the use of
particular materials for the flyers and bearings, specially designed yarn guiding systems, self-balancing binder assemblies and a unique binding tension control system.
