TECHNOLOGY NEWS:
Non-Contact High Precision Speed and Length Measurement
LADAC is a state-of-the-art measuring system for non-contact speed and length measurement at high accuracy. The working principle is based on the "Doppler" effect, using the modulation of laser interference fringes on the moving product surface. The actual speed is measured continuously and then converted to length. Both speed and length can be displayed and output signals are also available.
By means of optional inputs for optical proximity switches or the like, the system can also be used for cutting tubes, hoses etc. to the required lengths with sub millimetre accuracy.
Additional control inputs or an optional angular momentum signal generator output make the system useable for virtually any application and can replace existing mechanical devices.
Three different LADAC systems are available according to the speed range requirement:
LADAC 300 up to 300 m/min
LADAC 600 up to 600 m/min
LADAC 1200 up to 1’200 m/min
