Vertical and horizontal spoolers for the construction industry
Established in 1979 and specialising in the design and manufacture of wire drawing machinery, Tecno Impianti Srl, Italy, also offers a wide range of pay-off and take-up units that serve two main sectors of the wire industry: construction and fasteners. For the construction industry, the company offers vertical uncoilers, as well as vertical and horizontal spoolers. These units are part of the company’s family of cold rolling lines for production of smooth and ribbed wire. The vertical uncoilers are equipped with two tilting coil-holding arms, which permit a continuous uncoiling, through a welding operation between the two coils, without need of stopping the line for a change of coil. The vertical and horizontal spoolers can be equipped with fixed or collapsible reels and can take-up reels with weight of 2,000 and 3,000kg respectively.
Tecno Impianti provides the fastener industry with power-driven uncoilers/pre-straighteners for cold heading wire of medium/large diameters. They can uncoil and pre-straighten coils with maximum weight of 2,700kg and maximum medium-carbon wire of 35mm Ø. They can be supplied with some accessory items, such as additional straightening rolls, cutting-off device, chamfering unit, rotating base. The company also manufactures vertical and horizontal wire drawing bullblocks for cold heading wire. These machines can also be equipped with stripper or vertical spoolers (for the vertical bullblocks) and rotating reels for take-up of wire drawn on horizontal bullblocks.
