High-pressure cutting and straightening tools
Specialising in the manufacture and supply of cutting tools to the steel industry, the American company Vale Industries Inc. has introduced a new line of high-pressure cutting and straightening tools, including two different wire cutters for diameters up to 20mm, a wire straightener for diameters up to 25mm, and a unique cutter designed to cut windows in wire mesh with minimum or no burr.
By using a high-pressure operating system, Vale has been able to significantly reduce the tool weights, making operator handling and tool manipulation easy and efficient. For instance, the wire shear capable of cutting 20mm Ø steel weighs only 6.8 kg.
Along with this new range of high-pressure tools, the company has introduced a full range of high-pressure hydraulic power units, providing customers with a complete operating system available from a single source.
