Automated customer tag sample system
Providing the industry with thermal transfer metal tags via its Qualitag® on-site metal tag printer, InfoSight Corp, USA, has recently introduced a new automated customer tag sample system to allow potential customers to print their own metal tag samples. Utilising state-of-the-art web technology, a potential customer can enter information that they wish to appear on a metal tag sample, including barcode data, along with their shipping information. This information is then sent via the Internet to an on-demand printer located at InfoSight’s factory where the tags are printed, packaged and shipped to the customer. A web camera mounted on the tag printer offers a view of the customer’s tags being printed.
