| SAMP Sistemi, Italy, has recently introduced its newly developed BM2x630-D model, a machine consisting of two independent 630 bunchers with one frame and one electric motor, designed for producing simultaneously two different types of bunches. The BM2x630-D model also winds these bunches on two different or equal bobbins with the same number of twists/minute and the same or different stranding lay-length. This machine is particularly suitable for mass production of short lay-length wires, where high-speeds are preferable, for instance automotive and electronic wires.
The new machine also features key advantages compared to conventional bunchers, such as:
- Compactness and low investment: overall dimensions and investment less than two separate 630 bunchers;
- High productivity: 2 x 7,000 twists per minute;
- Low consumption: only one electric main motor for the two cradles (AC current).
