| GMP-Slovakia is a recently established company producing reels for drawing, stranding, bunching and transport, as well as collapsible reels, tilting and lifting devices for reels or coils, and baskets for wire rod. The reels are designed either according to international standards or to meet customers� special requirements.
Of particular interest is the company�s SW series of single wall reels that are suitable for copper or steel wires and cables and can directly be used on bunching or stranding machines. This new series can also be used for transport and, in its light version, is considered as a �one-way� reel. The SW series can be reinforced with 8 to 12 ribs on the flanges. The barrel can also be reinforced with inner rings to support the strength of the wire. Standard dimensions include 630, 760, 800 and 1,000mm, or can be tailor-made according to customers� specification.
