| Burton McCall Ltd, UK, an exclusive importer and distributor of a portfolio of high-quality branded brands, has recently introduced the Felco C7 universal cutter, a small and easy-to-handle single-hand cutter that is recommended for cutting hardened spring steel wires up to 2.5mm � and cables up to 7mm �. Because of the special shape of the blades, cables are not crushed, but cut progressively.
Felco carries-out all the heat treatment necessary in the manufacture of cable cutters. Once completed, the cable cutters are tested on a bench using forces that greatly exceed normal conditions of use. The extreme hardness of the blades allows them to cut excessively hard materials.
