Air wipes are available in two designs that incorporate the same proprietary concept: �sure shot� and �split shot�.
The �sure shot�, which is primarily for bare wire, consists of a polymer mounting block with a high-density, wear resistant ceramic insert that is hand-pressed into the mount and seals with O-rings. The �split shot� has a clam shell designed housing with ceramic insets. For jacketed wire or cable, it opens to allow welds or extrusion bulges to pass through without damage, or is used where it is not practical to thread the wire through and air wipe when setting up the line.
