| VXI Technology Inc., USA, a designer and manufacturer of high-density modular instruments and signal switching systems for electronics manufacturers and suppliers, has recently introduced the unique dual-ported design of its VT1432/33 family of digitisers. This series allows users to view and process selected data in real time, while saving all time data to the VT2216A VXI data disc.
In many cases, this process can generate over a 100Gbit/s of data for one test. This new software provides an easy-to-use GUI interface that allows users to copy LIF-based throughput files from the VT2216A VXI data disc to a PC, via an LVD SCSI interface. This allows throughput files to be downloaded at 5 to 50 times faster than MXI or Firewire data transfers. In most cases, data can be downloaded from the VT2216A in less time than it takes to run the test. LIF EXPRESS also supports the HP E1562 family of VXI data discs, using HVD SCSI interfaces.
