| Fanton SpA, Italy, has launched its latest Skysat Triplex cable, branded AMBRA90, that ensures excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference thanks to its conception made from gas injected technology and triple shield. Its high-electrical performance makes it ideal for digital transmission.
Due to the particular structure of its shield, Skysat Triplex ensures a high-protection against interference signals, guaranteeing important electromagnetic protection and high-efficiency screening values (>95dB). The shield of Skysat Triplex consists firstly of a first Aluminium/Polyester/Aluminium tape, which is adherent to the dielectric, then a tinned copper braid and then a further Aluminium/Polyester/Aluminium tape, that is adherent to the sheath. The triple shield also allows the laying in already existing and crowded raceways, in narrow contact with other cables, without suffering electromagnetic interference.
