| Fishertech, Canada, a division of Fisher Gauge Ltd, a global leader in high-precision molten metal injection technologies, has recently introduced a new stand-alone cable upsetter that allows multiple-size upsetting of cable and wire with precision and control at any location.
The manually loaded, table-top unit features interchangeable upsetter tools to accommodate galvanised or steel cable and wire rope in diameters ranging from 0.5 to 4mm. The adjustable anvil stroke can produce multiple-size upset diameters to meet pull-off strength specifications. Pneumatically driven and electrically controlled, the Fishertech cable upsetter provides high-speed capacity of over 1,000 upsets per hour.
