| Utilising 2D or 3D wire forms and incorporating twists, turns, spirals, protrusions and indentations in wire up to 14mm in thickness, the UK-based company Willliam Hughes combines over 200 years of wire-making experience with the state-of-the-art automation techniques, including the latest CNC bending and coiling centres. The finished result is a wire part manufactured to the highest precision and meeting all the criteria of the individual customer's specification.
In addition to bending wire through any plane in any configuration, William Hughes also applies further refinements such as cut or rolled threads and plastic or painted coatings, spot, projection, butt or MIG welding. An in-house design team fully equipped with the latest CAD facilities ensures that each wire form or assembly is both practical and economic to produce whilst fully computerised production processes maintain the quality of the prototype over long (or short) production runs.
