Air/hydraulic powered HP200 welder
Cold pressure welding provides a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly alternative to heat welding. Pressure Welding Machines (PWM) Ltd, UK, manufactures and supplies a wide range of high-performance cold pressure welders, all of which use the multiple upset technique to provide a fast, permanent weld on non-ferrous materials, creating a bond as strong as the parent material without heat, mess or fuss. The PWM range includes cold welders to suit a wide variety of applications, from small hand-held, manually operated models for joining fine copper/aluminium wire ranging from 0.08mm up to electro/pneumatic and electro/hydraulic powered heavy-duty, freestanding rod welders with capacities of up to 25.00mm copper and 30.00 mm aluminium

PWMs newest model is the air/hydraulic powered HP200 welder. A larger, more powerful version of the companys HP100 machines, the new HP200 has a solid steel welding head, capable of welding non-ferrous wire and strip from 2.00mm to 6.50mm . Trolley-mounted for convenience and ease of use, the welder is powered by an air/hydraulic intensifier, easily activated by a foot pedal.
