| Founded in 1985 and specialising in the development of physical foaming coaxial cables, coaxial drop cables, 50ohms RF coaxial cables, as well as 50ohms radiating coaxial cables, the Chinese company Hansen Industries Corp. recently announced that its series of 50W corrugated copper tube coaxial cables has been certified according to the rigorous UL standard. All items of the cable have been qualified after a series of performance examinations of physical foaming and combustion by the Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Hansen is the first Chinese company to have been awarded the UL certification for corrugated copper tube coaxial cables. The company also obtained the same certification in 2001 for its series of braiding-type coaxial cable.
The 50W corrugated copper tube coaxial cable series has been developed for the national mobile communication market. To better serve its customers, the company paid particularly attention to the cable�s electrical performances by adjusting the product�s structure and choosing the resource of dielectric and jacket. Hansen�s sample successfully passed the vertical tray flame test in June 2002. Since then, all the company�s series of coaxial cables have achieved the most international standards using Criterion.
ISO 9001:2000 certified, Hansen Industries Corp has reently been certified according to the ISO 14000 environment government system and the OHSAS 18000 profession health safety system.
