| Providing the wire industry with equipment that is suitable for cold shaped wire , Promills Srl, Italy, has recently announced the release of a new generation of rolling cassettes and turks heads. These new rolling cassettes are characterised by their ease-of-use, their manifold possibility of assembling and their sturdiness. Furthermore, the new Promills rolling heads guarantee a compacted cable without marks in the required ovality.
The company also supplies rolling heads to suit smooth and ribbed wire for concrete and electrowelded mesh. Made of low and high-carbon steel, as well as stainless steel, the rolling heads are suitable as standard or special profiles such as triangles, fine wire, square, rectangles and special profiles and are available within sizes ranging from 0.8 up to 14mm �. Furthermore, the Italian company has recently developed a new high-precision micro-cassette, model Pro80331, that operates within sizes ranging from 0.8 to 3.5mm. This new micro-cassette can be used instead of a die box, permitting to avoid all adjustments that are necessary when using rolls.
