| VXI Technology Inc., USA, a global supplier of high-density modular test solutions, has introduced its latest model VM4018, a precision 16-channel analogue comparator / interrupter that further enhances the company�s VMIP family of high-density modular instrumentation. The VM4018 can provide up to 48 precision comparator / interrupter channels in a single VXI slot. The model can accurately detect and respond to level changes over a wide range of voltages. A precision DAC provides the reference voltage for each comparator channel, resulting in accuracies greater than 10X over competitive products. Input ranges can be individually selected from �1V to �250V. The flexible interrupt feature can be configured to initiate other events autonomously through the TTL trigger lines, or interrupt the processor.
Another valuable feature is the programmable debounce circuitry that eliminates false failures by preventing erroneous readings within user-defined limits. �This product is ideal for applications involving go/no-go testing where a voltage threshold or window must be monitored. It is equally well suited for control applications requiring device shut down if specific parameters are exceeded.
