| One of the market leaders in second-hand machinery for the wire and cable industry, the German company Siegfried Bongard GmbH also specialises in the manufacture of coiling and spooling machines which can be integrated in production lines. With approximately 40 sales representations all over the world, the company�s export rate increased up to 80%, mostly in the Asian and USA markets.
Having always been concentrating on the development of complete system solutions in the coiling and spooling sectors, the company provides highly sophisticated solutions that are tailored to exact customer specification. As an example, Bongard has recently developed a fully automatic in-line ring coiling system for the production of automotive cable coils. Feature maximum speed of 1,200m/min, maximum coil length of 3,000m, cross sections from 0.25 to 6.00mm, the new system can directly be integrated in a wire insulation line. In addition, the company has developed a winding and rewinding line that is suitable for fine and superfine wires ranging from 0.05 to 0.5mm � or flat material. This new line provides high-precision and laser-controlled wire traversing system. Furthemore, Bongard offers a multiple fine wire spooling line that is suitable for wire diameters ranging from 0.1 to 0.4mm or flat wires.
In addition, the sister company Bongard Trading GmbH & Co KG provides the wire, cable and rolling mill industries with high-quality second-hand machinery for the wire, cable and rolling mill industries. The available stock covers more than 20,000m2 and approximately 1,200 used machines which can be supplied either in �as is� condition or �refurbished and modernised� and fully operational.
