| Roell Amsler Dynamic Testing GmbH, Germany, has recently launched its model Vibrolino designed to determine oscillating consistency for materials and components or for fatigue strength according to DIN 50100 (s/n curve). The new system is also suitable for tensile stress, compression load, pulsating stress and alternate load. The Vibrolino allows the user to perform mechanical fracturing tests on C(T) and SE(BN) specimens and fatigue strength tests on components such as screws. Therefore, the testing machine is especially built for production and quality controls of components that are exposed to dynamic loading during their lifetime. Tests can also be carried out under various environmental conditions (temperature, aggressive media) with corresponding optional features. In addition, torsion and bending tests are possible. All tests can be carried out in load or in strain control depending on the used tests procedures.
The machine is designed as tabletop testing machine in single column design. The static drive consists of a four-quadrant DC gear motor, which submits a fast and accurate mean load controlling. The oscillating system delivers test frequencies of 35 up to 300Hz. These high-test frequencies, combined with short test times, allow high-specimen throughput. Another key feature is the maintenance-free system without abrasion parts, which does not require any additional aggregates, such as hydraulics or cooling water. VibroWin electronics is absolutely stand-alone; therefore PC cards are not necessary.
