Corning�s portfolio of metropolitan solutions also includes the Mass Termination Xchange (MTX) frame, featuring an industry-leading 1,728-fibre capacity using SC or FC connectors. The MTX frame offers ultra-high termination density, easy termination access and superb jumper management in a minimal footprint. It provides either top or bottom cable entry and various cable type and connector options. Additionally, discrete connector access limits disturbance to adjacent connections, making the frame ideal for high-speed networks. In addition, Corning provides the metropolitan network industry with its SST-Optimizer� cable, an all-dielectric cable that contains up to 72 fibres and is installable in a 10/8mm micro duct. The solution allows the customer to minimise first-installed costs by deploying cable that matches current capacity requirements.
