| Specialising for over 75 years in the design and manufacture of complete line equipment, the American company Merritt Davis/Davis Electric has recently announced the appointment of Mr Larry Fitzgerald as sales manager for wire and cable equipment and systems. Mr Fitzgerald will be responsible for the domestic and international sales management for the wire and cable and fibre optic customer base. Bringing over twenty-eight years of sales and engineering experience with major capital equipment suppliers, and having a B.S. in mechanical engineering, Mr. Fitzgerald was previously manager of sales and engineering for the commercial group of The Entwistle Company.
Merritt Davis/Davis Electric provides the industry with a wide range of equipment which includes pay-offs, take-ups, extruders from 3/4" to 12", cooling systems, capstans accumulators and automation equipment, as well as complete systems for wire and cable, optical fibre, profile, pipe, tubing, reclaim and hot melt, compounding, blown and cast film, sheet, as well as monofilament fibre.
