Borealis AS, Denmark, has recently appointed Mr Clive Watson as chief financial officer and executive vice president. He replaces Mr Franz Wurm who has decided to leave the company. "Franz Wurm has made substantial contributions towards the development of Borealis including the PCD integration in 1998", commented Mr John Taylor, chief executive of Borealis. Mr Watson is a qualified accountant and has worked with Arthur Andersen, CIC International, Black & Decker, and Thorn Lighting in the UK, Ireland and the United States. "I welcome Clive to Borealis as we drive forward with the implementation of our updated strategy”, commented Mr Taylor. "We intend to be a leading, profitable, integrated polyolefins supplier".
