| PolyOne Corporation UK Ltd, part of PolyOne Corp., USA, has recently announced the reinforcement of its UK sales team with the appointment of two new sales representatives, Mr Manjit Taank and Mr Nathan James. Mr Taank has previously worked for Albis UK Ltd and Plastribution Ltd where he worked as a technical sales representative. In his new role at PolyOne, he will be the key account manager for engineering polymers (UK South). His responsibilities will include the provision of technical support to customers and also business development for engineered materials. Mr James previously worked as a development chemist with AlphaGary Ltd. He then progressed to senior development chemist for TPE products. His most recent position was that of automotive sales coordinator before leaving to join PolyOne as the key account manager for automotive UK. His responsibilities will include OEM developments and first tier automotive moulders.
PolyOne has also announced the appointment of two new customer service representatives, Ms Sandra Parry-Smith and Ms Joanne Bates. Ms Parry-Smith has joined PolyOne as customer service representative for the UK. She has worked for 15 years in the plastics industry and previous positions include area sales manager for both engineering and commodity resins for GE Polymerland. Ms Bates has previously worked for Pitney Bowes, an American franking machine company, as a sales co-ordinator. She has recently joined PolyOne as customer service representative where her experience in sales support and SAP will greatly benefit the UK customers.
