| Wire & Plastic Machinery Corp., USA, is one the largest stocking dealers of non-ferrous wire and cable machinery in the world, providing the industry with used and rebuilt machinery and systems. The company policy is to buy high-quality used equipment and resell them either in the original state or refurbishing them mechanically and electrically to today�s standards.
The company recently exhibited at wire Russia 2003, reporting a successful exhibition, during which company specialists were present to discuss customers specific needs. Also present on the stand, were Mr Rahul Sachdev, vice-president marketing and sales, and Mr David Forber, international sales consultant. Mr Forber has been assisting Wire & Plastic Machinery since November 2002 in their international sales efforts. He is responsible for developing a world-wide network of agents and dealing with international customers. He was previously with Watson/AFA International and prior to that, worked with General Engineering.
Wire & Plastic Machinery has also recently acquired high-quality equipment used in the manufacture of fibre optic cables. Most items are less than three years old and some are unused still in OEM shipping crates. From its 90,000m2 warehouses, the American company offers the latest technology available on the used machinery market today. A wide range of equipment is available for producing almost all cable types such as fibre optic cable, low voltage cables, data cables and copper communication cables.
