Recent changes at Davis-Standard
After 46 years at the company, most recently as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Robert Ackley has retired from active service at Davis-Standard. He continues to serve on the board of directors and remains an equity investor in the company.
Mr Ackley was succeeded as CEO by Charles Buckley, who has over 25 years of senior management experience in the polymer processing equipment industry including leadership roles at Brown Plastics Machinery and John Brown Plastics Machinery Group (and predecessor companies).
More recently, Robert Armstrong has joined the company as Vice-president and Corporate Controller. Mr Armstrong has more than 35 years of senior level public and private financial experience. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Metalor Technologies, USA,
and was CFO and Corporate Controller for John Brown Plastics Machinery. His new job responsibilities include financial reporting and control, treasury and information systems.
