RUSAL appoints new director

RUSAL of Russia has appointed Vyacheslav Krylov as Managing Director of its Extruded Products Division.

Mr Krylov will oversee the company’s strategic development of its extruded products business. This will involve consolidating RUSAL’s position in the market, improving production and expanding the product range. Mr Krylov will also be responsible for growing this division into one of the largest extrusion producers in Russia.

In 2001, he was appointed Managing Director of RUSAL’s Metallurgical Business Unit and supervised the management and restructuring of Orsk-Khalilov Metallurgical Group of Plants (NOSTA). In 2003-2004, Mr Krylov headed the Urals Steel plant and most recently occupied the post of General Director of group company Continental Management Holding.
