Proton Products
Mr Grant Latimer has been appointed as Sales and Marketing Director of Proton Products International. Mr Latimer joins from Process Control Inc where he held
the position of Asia Pacific Director; he was previously a Manufacturing Engineer at BICC Cables.
Commenting on the appointment, John Kyriakis, Chairman of Proton Products, said: “Grant brings a depth of customer focused qualities that are essential to serving the global wire, cable and fibre manufacturing industries. His experience within cable manufacturing facilities, knowledge of measurement and control technology and proven track record, will help Proton Products meet its objectives of developing advanced measurement and control solutions and providing the industry with the best technical support.”
Mr Latimer commented: “Proton Products is building a solid reputation for providing some of the most advanced measurement technology used in manufacturing facilities around the world.”
In a further expansion move, Proton Products has opened a European office
in Belgium and recruited Danny Buelens as the Director of Proton Products
Europe NV/SA. Based in Merchtem-Peizegem, this is the latest office to be established by Proton Products as it
expands its sales and customer support coverage in Europe.
Mr Buelens has 25 years experience
in export sales management in opto-electronics and laser technology, wire and cable instrumentation and process control and building control solutions. He was previously with the BETA Instrument Group where he was Group Sales and Marketing Director.
