| QED Wire Lines, Canada, has expanded its operations by recently appointing Mr Michael Crowle to the position of project engineer. Mr Crowle will be involved in a number of projects aimed at further developing the company's equipment line. He will also have responsibilities in the commissioning of new equipment. Michael Crowle has a BSc. Eng. from McGill University in Montreal and experience in the metal processing industry from his Masters at the University of Victoria. The new appointment is a result of QED's continued success in the steel wire industry.
With 25 years of practical experience and specialising in the design and manufacture of equipment for heat-treating, cleaning and coating of steel wire, QED Wire Lines provides the wire industry with custom-made and built high-speed lines specially designed for galvanising, Galfan�, patenting, annealing, tyre cord and bead as well as oil tempering processes.
