During the recent annual general meeting of the Austrian Wire and Cable Machinery Manufacturers Association (AWCMA) in December 2001, the association's founder and President since, Dr. Kurt G. Eder (Eder Engineering GmbH), has been unanimously re-elected in his office as the association's President for the period of 2002/2003. The new committee board is as follows:
- President: Dr Kurt G. Eder (Eder Engineering);
- Vice-President: Dipl-Ing. Peter Ebner (Ebner Industrieofenbau);
- Secretary: Mr. Kurt Streitenberger (Unitek);
- Co-ordination: Mr. Siegfried Altmann (Rosendahl/KDS);
- Treasurer: Mr Thomas Ruedisser (KCS).
Founded in 1988 by Dr Kurt G. Eder, AWCMA includes 21 company members specialising in the manufacture of machines and products specially designed for the wire and cable industry. The Austrian association is also a founder member of IWCEA, Dr Eder holding the position of Vice-President. At wire D�sseldorf 2002, 15 AWCMA company members will be exhibiting on the Austrian common pavilion which has been co-jointly organised by the association and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber's foreign trade organisation, while 4 members will participate as individual exhibitors |
