Wire Russia 2005 – success revisited
Moscow will once again play host to everyone who’s anyone in the international
metal industry from 21–24th June as the city reprises its successful hosting of
Wire Russia which runs concurrently with Metallurgy-Litmash, Tube Russia and Aluminium/Non-Ferrous 2005.
The 2003 debut of Wire Russia immediately established the event as the leading fair for the Russian wire and cable industry. The joint organisers – Messe Düsseldorf and the All-Russian Cable Scientific Research and Development Institute (VNIIKP) – are confident that this second event will drive that message home even more powerfully.
Wire Russia is supported by all the key international trade associations and as such is assured a broad international reach. Already Germany, Austria, Italy, the USA, France and the UK have confirmed participation in the form of large joint stands. Renowned companies from all sectors (wire and cable machines, fastener and finishing technologies) have signed up to
exhibit at Wire Russia 2005, which will be staged in Hall 7 of ZAO Expocentr Krasnaya Presnya.
The exhibition space booked to date has already exceeded that of the previous event,
say the organisers, and many companies have dramatically increased the size of their
stands in order to demonstrate their machinery to potential buyers. On the Russian side, too, interest in products, technologies and services from abroad is on the increase, as was evident at the previous event from the rush of trade visitors who flocked from all corners of the Russian Federation. In all, some 10,500 specialists attended Wire Russia 2003.
