Gauder sales division relocates to Shanghai
To be closer to its customers, Gauder Group China has relocated its sales division to Shanghai. This new office is managed by Mr Gu Yu.
The Gauder Group, active in China since 1983, established a production plant in Changzhou, 180km west of Shanghai, five years ago – the first foreign metallic cable machinery company to manufacture rotating machines in China. Most types of Setic and Pourtier equipment are available from Changzhou, for the production of communication cables, power cables flexible cords and automotive cables.
Manufacturing processes run under Gauder’s supervision. Sub-suppliers are selected on strict standards of quality, while components that are not available in the Chinese market are imported. Experienced electrical and mechanical specialists assemble the machines according to precise specifications. A 70-strong team is ready
to advise customers on bespoke projects. Where necessary, Gauder will test the customer’s products on workshop equip-ment and assist them to improve processes.
