Lämneå Bruk AB acquires 'Morgårdshammar Wire Drawing Equipment' and 'Arboga'
Lämneå Bruk AB of Ljusfallshammar, Sweden, a manufacturer of equipment for the wire industry, has announced the acquisition, from Morgårdshammar AB the wire drawing machinery business, 'Morgårdshammar Wire Drawing Equipment' and 'Arboga'. The two businesses are also manufacturers of wire drawing machinery and based in Sweden.
This acquisition includes the transfer from Morgårdshammar AB to Lämneå Bruk AB all know-how, drawings and intellectual property related to wire drawing machinery activities. The acquisition will strengthen Lämneå Bruk AB by increasing their customer base and by adding to their range of products.
Customers of 'Morgårdshammar Wire Drawing Machinery' and 'Arboga' will also benefit in that a secure supply of spare parts, service and technical assistance for their machinery is ensured for the long term.
