Techint receives another order from Hadeed for walking beam furnaces
Another prestigious order has been obtained by Techint Technologies in Saudi Arabia for the supply of a new walking beam furnace (220 tph capacity) and for the revamping of the existing one (delivered by Techint in 1996) at the Hadeed Al Jubail hot strip mill.
The aim of the revamping is to increase the furnace capacity up to 220 tph and to upgrade its performance, functionality and cost saving, according to the most recent Techint technologies. VAI and SMS Demag are involved in the rolling mill expansion.
