Russian Delivery of Annealing and Galvanising Line
The I.C.E. Group is pleased to announce the successful delivery of a high-speed technologically advanced annealing and galvanizing line to Metizno-Metallurgichesky Zavod (MMZ) of Magnitogorsk, Russia.
The production line includes:
- Fluid bed with the latest technological developments in temperature uniformity and fuel efficiency;
- Acid Wave Pickle designed to effectively clean wire at high speeds in a fraction of the length of conventional European acid systems;
- Ceramic Lined Immersion Burner Galvanizer to maximize fuel efficiency and an industry leading furnace life; and
- Pad Wipe System to provide an attractive and cost efficient commercial grade zinc coating on the wire.
The line is designed to produce 3,200 kg/hr of wire ranging is size from 1.6 mm to 5.0 mm.
The line was delivered on schedule, commissioned within 3 weeks and is operating at its designed capacity.
The I.C.E. Group led the project delivering a turnkey operation for MMMZ with payoffs and takeups from M+E of Lecco, Italy.
