Leoni acquires cable system specialist
Leoni AG, Germany, has announced the acquisition of the all equity in cable specialist Klink & Oechsle GmbH, Germany. The company, which was established in 1987, specialised in developing complete cable systems as well as assembling cables made to customer specifications. With about 110 employees, Klink & Oechsle generated sales of €19 million in the past financial year. Main customers are well-known companies in the telecommunications and mechanical engineering, as well as medical equipment and car manufacturing sectors. With this acquisition, Leoni intends to further extend its leading position in the market for tailor-made cable solutions.
