Great success for Troester at wire Düsseldorf
Troester GmbH & CO. KG, one of the world’s leading suppliers of complete extrusion lines, extruders and machinery for the cable manufacturing industry, recently reported a large success for its wire Düsseldorf exhibition, with two large-volume orders signed during the show. The company will soon supply a tandem sheathing line for the sheathing of high-voltage cables and a CCV-line for the production of medium and high-voltage cables. During the exhibition, visitors were also attracted by Troester’s new developments in the field of conductor heating, high-speed extruders, efficient extrusion of flame-retardant material and cost-effective production of extruded flexible flat cables for the automotive industry. Numerous productive discussions and a record number of enquiries further confirmed the company’s success in its strategic developments. “Our system expertise and the accurate identification of the needs of the market provide an optimistic view for the future of Troester”, commented Dr. Peter Schmidt, president of the company.
As expected by the company before the show started, the newly developed CV splice box with integrated inductive conductor postheating, part of the TRIHEAT system, received a successful welcome from visitors. The new EcoMax coil for conductor post-heating enables a simple coil change, and brings a dramatic increase in efficiency. Many discussions during the exhibition already indicate that this technical innovation will be integrated into existing systems throughout the world within a short time.
In addition, the company presented its new high-speed extruder, model Rotospeed PXS 45/25 D, featuring sophisticated design and convincing drive concept. Special spiral mandrel distributors for single and double cross heads, designed for the extrusion of flame-retardant materials, stimulated discussions and product enquiries and orders were already placed during the exhibition for this new development. Furthermore, Troester introduced its new patented SRRD (Single Roll Roller Die) system, especially designed for the cost-effective production of extruded flexible flat cables. The SRRD process makes it possible to produce the complete range of flexible flat cables with the aid of only one flat sheet die. Using a profiled plate, this process can also be used for the production of multi-core flat cables with round conductors.
