Demand grows for Steuler environment-friendly pickling technology
Specialising in the development and construction plants for surface finishing, wire refinement, water and waste water-treatment, regeneration, absorption, catalytic and flue gas cleaning applications, Steuler Anlagenbau GmbH, Germany, has recently confirmed the further consolidation of its leading position in the market of wire coil pickling plants. The company has informed us that more than € 12 million contracts have been signed with major wire producers world-wide. Since the end of 2002, Steuler has been awarded contracts for the engineering, installation and commissioning of four wire coil pickling plants, designed for the treatment of carbon and stainless steel wire.
With nearly 100 years experience, Steuler has developed a long and intimate working relationship with acids and other hazardous chemicals, applying a considerable amount of know-how to produce a range of internationally acclaimed techniques limiting harmful effects on the environment. Today, Steuler lines are considered as some of the most ecological systems to be found on the market.
