A web-based solution for spare parts information
Nextrom Holding SA, Switzerland, one of the world’s premier suppliers of manufacturing solutions and services to the fibre optic industry has recently updated eNex, a web-based solution for electronic services providing users real-time access to necessary spare parts information covering identification, pricing, inventory and ordering. eNex was first introduced to customers in April 2002 and currently almost 100 customers have been introduced to the system. Nextrom is expecting the number of customers to grow further, as new features and benefits are introduced. As a result of increased efficiency in the spare part process, Nextrom is now able to offer substantial additional savings to all eNex users in the form of discounted spare part prices. The company is also introducing new features, such as some selected components being introduced in eNex as special offers. In the coming months, Nextrom will also extend the use of eNex to cover all company’s locations, including the partner network. This will further improve the service level taking the service another click closer to its customers.
