Advanced communication cables for Cyprus
Belden Wire & Cable has recently secured a 3-year contract with CYTA, Cyprus Telecommunications Authority, for the supply of telecommunication copper cables for telecommunications applications. Deliveries are scheduled to begin June 2004. The cables included in the contract are polyethylene twin-cables that will be used in the Authority's local distribution network and will be suitable for laying directly in the ground or drawing in ducts. Belden has elected to work with Stredi Holdings Ltd, Cyprus, who will act as local agents for Belden throughout the contract. “Belden fully understand the demands of leading communication providers and we are more than happy to offer our knowledge and experience to assist in growth and development of networks.
